Info & Resources

Waterdance is a unique river and mountain community in scenic western North Carolina.  The gated community is 100% privately owned. There are homes and homesites along the secluded West Fork of the Tuckasegee River as well as along Grassy Creek and Prickly Ash Creek.  Lots have beautiful woodlands, majestic boulders, and long range views, and sit at various elevations from 2,400 feet up to 3,600 feet at the ridge at the top of the mountain.

The community has an electronic access gate, paved roads, underground electrical service, river and mountain hiking trails, over a mile of fly fishing water, and two pavilions – one along the river and one at the top of the mountain.  A community-wide water system is in the final stages of construction, with an estimated completion in December 2020. There is a long-serving and dedicated board of directors.
